My sister came into my room a while ago. She was complaining about how everyone knew her as “Becca’s little sister.”
Sister: When anyone finds out that I’m your sister they always go “OHHHH you’re Becca’s sister?!?!?!”
Me: What, you don’t like that??
Sister: mmm, nope
Me: Really?!
Sister: actually.. yeah I do hehehe. I just don’t understand why though
Me: It’s cause I’m so cool
Sister: or maybe they just know who you are…
Then she walked out.
My dad said he was going to pick me in 20 minutes…. two hours ago. THIS IS WHY I HATE NOT HAVING CAR. my dad is always always late. And if you’re going to make a promise, be realistic about it instead of giving me false hopes.
I like good music, and I like it even more when I find new ones.

On my way home, my dad asked me to stop by Home Depot to buy oil for the lawn mower. I was on the left lane & needed to go on the right lane, but then this stupid guy in a red pick-up truck was in my way & honking. I wasn’t sure if he was honking at me or not but I could have cared less because I was concerned about trying to get onto the right lane. BUT THAT STUPID GUY IN THE RED PICK-UP TRUCK was driving parallel to me. I was already annoyed that he was in my way, but to make things worse he starts whistling at me. At this point, I turn to look at the driver & he is some 40-somewhat year old man raising his eyebrows up & down. I was freakin’ pissed. Not only did I miss my chance to go into the Home Depot entrance, but it was all because of some low-life who really needs to get a life. I immediately gave him the dirtiest look & rolled up my windows.
seriously… SERIOUSLY?! I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT — people who are such freakin’ animals and don’t know how to keep their pants on or show respect to other people. SO GROSS.
Here’s the thing: it is not attractive or flattering, like AT ALL, when people whistle at others they don’t even know as if they are some kind of meat. Now, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be attracted to people, cause that’s completely natural, but can you at least express it in a way that is not degrading to you and the other person?
My boss shares the office space with two lawyers, and they recently hired an intern. She’s in the same year as I am, and she seems really sweet.
The lawyers used to have a secretary, who was also really nice too, but I guess they fired her or laid her off for the summer… which would explain why she was so sad last week & why she wasn’t here yesterday. It sucks for her, but I mean, it makes sense. Intern = less/no pay while an actual employee = raises & more pay. Well, I’m going to miss her. I think her name was Heather… not too sure, but she was really friendly. She would always offer me coffee (which, btw, is always a plus for me).
But whatever, the new intern is pretty chill, and she can speak perfect English. I feel more comfortable & relaxed around her, too, which is definitely good, cause I was nervous as hell being the only intern at the office.

I made a summer resolution about a month ago. I taped this list on the wall next to my bed as an incentive to fulfill them. It’s not really going to well, so I figured I would do something completely exposing post them on my tumblr so that maybe, just maybe, I’ll actually try to fulfill all of them. The mouse that I use at my internship is wireless, which means that it runs on two AA batteries. Well, it just ran out. And I can’t find batteries anywhere nor is there anyone in the office at the moment to help me find some (they’re all on lunch break). BUTTTTT thankfully, the keyboard isn’t out of batteries.
lol, isn’t it funny (and pathetic…) that despite the inconvenience of not having a mouse, I still go on tumblr? what a loser…

I have a whole list of goals & aspirations, but I rarely ever do anything to achieve them. Instead, I keep sitting & waiting while wishing for a miracle. silly me… things don’t work that way.
Either give up my goals or quit being lazy — I think I’ll go with the latter.
isn’t it interesting when you talk to someone attractive, so all throughout the conversation, you can’t help but think of how nice looking that person is. Yet you can still carry out a somewhat rational conversation so the other person doesn’t suspect a thing…. isn’t that interesting?
At my internship, I look at bank statements, look at what the owner purchased & input that information into a program called QuickBook. Now this one account that I’m filing, this person goes to this place called “Bbq Chicken & Beer” frequently, and MY GOSH, I could go for some right now.
My boss has been in Manhattan since this morning. I miss him. I finished all my work & I need something to do…
