ahahahaha this is awesome! an essential for most women
it only occurred to me now that there's a pattern
he went to california & got married she was in california & that’s where he went to visit her he also went to california and now, he’s on his way to california to see her
They ruined it for me. I hate California.
and yet, I still want to end up there, but maybe I should reconsider now.
quality,
not quantity.
The other day I saw a fresh pile of dog shit on the side walk. What made it even grosser was that someone had stepped in it and consequently left a trail of dog-shit-outlined-shoe-prints for about a good five steps.
I think that could possibly be the best illustration of our current situation.

funny how we're all differently the same
Have you ever noticed how a pigeon walks?
It waddles. And so awkwardly, too. Like as if it’s not sure what to do. It scuttles along side people as though it’s a part of society, but it knows it doesn’t belong. Yet it waddles away anyway — aimlessly & constantly in the way, only in hopes of finding something to eat. Damn pigeon. It’s desperate for something, but at the same time, it doesn’t know what...
I'm not looking for love
I’m here to dance.
So when I’m looking at you, I’m checking to see two things:
if you can dance (& I don’t mean what Americans call “dancing” where a guy is simply bobbing up & down behind a girl… wtf is that)
if you’re cute (because who wants to dance with an ugly guy??)
The best is if you’re cute & you can dance. If...

to be proficient in 3 languages
I can’t stand narrow-minded people, and yet I can’t seem to be open to the fact that some people are simply narrow-minded.

step 1
taking things for granted
when you text me to know how I’m doing when you send me articles through the mail because you think I’ll enjoy reading it when you insist on walking me home even though this town is nothing compared to the city when you clean my room every weekend when you keep reminding me to put on sunblock when you make sure all my luggages have a name tag on it when you ask if I want any sandwiches...
Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do,...

The Conversation about women happens everywhere, publicly and privately. We are described and detailed, our faces and bodies analyzed and picked apart, our worth ascertained and ascribed based on the reduction of personhood to simple physical objectification. Our voices, our personhood, our potential, and our accomplishments are regularly minimized and muted.
Have you noticed that? Women are...
i'm actually making a bday wishlist this year
& way in advance too… HA I usually hate wishlists & I think the last time I made one was like… years ago but WHATEVAH, I’m not crying this year.

And so everyone in this room today is faced with the most important question of your life: Is my acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord and my conviction that God raised him from the dead like Satan’s, leading to destruction, or like Paul’s, leading to salvation?

I like the sounds of your words and the fluctuation caused by the accents & stresses. I like the rhythm & the rolling flow of your sentences. I like brushing my hair, and I like colors that seem to clash but we secretly know that they’re a good combination. But even so, my wardrobe consists of black & white. I like movies on superheroes, even more now after my rude awakening...

I can sit here for hours listening to the sound of the ocean,
but my favorite part will always be the fleeting silence right before the tide falls.

I think the saddest way to die is from a stroke caused by pushing too hard while sitting on the toilet.
Shit happens… so be patient.
